I love vintage style and I'm also a vintage lady, so a couple of years ago I started a hashtag on Instagram called #vintageladyvintagestyle 'cause I wanted anyone at any age to join in and show their gorgeous outfits off, vintage or non-vintage, especially if they're Over 50 and no longer feeling invisible! But I need to recruit some new members as there just aren't enough of us out there strutting our stuff..............
You probably know by now that, despite my age, I love "raving". Nothing makes me happier than loud dance music DJ'd by a Famous where I can dance my socks off and forget my ageing bones! Fortunately, one of my oldest school friends, Dalia, also loves dancing and, even more fortunately for me, she's a Goodwood Member of the Richmond Enclosure, which means we can have a rave night in total comfort!
I was lucky enough to be sent some gorgeous accessories by East Clothing, whilst I was in Byron Bay in March. Just as the weather turned to Autumn, literally overnight, my amazing photographer Charlotte Coker, of A Beautiful Weirdo, and I hit the beach in wind lashing weather to do our best. I am thrilled with the results and I hope you like them too.
I had a photo shoot last week to update my publicity pics. I really wanted to wear this old but still much loved dress fromRiver Island, but didn't have an exciting head scarf to style it up - till Age of Reason Studios, very kindly sent me one to try out. Thrilled that it arrived in time for the shoot and even more thrilled with the quality and colours of this scarf. This is definitely going to Australia with me as it's big enough to double up as a sarong.
