My first Skin Care video.
This will make you laugh! My night time regime to keep my skin healthy & bright. It includes sticking my face into a very cold bowl of water! Hope you enjoy.
So why plunging your face in cold water? Apart from the Paul Newman factor, latest research shows that it stimulates the Vagus Nerve (the longest nerve in the body that is a bit like the Captain of the parasympathetic nervous system) & therefore our health. The list of possible benefits of activating this important nerve is awesome, so well worth a try. Do it for 30 seconds and, if you're like me, do one side then the other. I don't like it up my nose & in my eyes 'cause I'm a woose! But you can also turn the shower onto cold at the end of your clean for much the same health benefits.

Block systemic (body-wide) inflammation – a major factor behind ageing and poor health.
Help us overcome depression and anxiety.
Help us sleep better.
Raise levels of human growth hormone.
Help us overcome insulin resistance.
Turn down allergic responses.
Lower chances of getting stress and tension headaches.
Help spare and grow our mitochondria- this is a key to maintaining optimal energy levels and not harming our DNA and RNA.
